Riley`s Tree Cricket (Oecanthus rileyi)

Arthropoda > Insecta > Orthoptera > Gryllidae

Images presented here have been identified as belonging to the Oecanthus rileyi Group, and do not necessarily represent the species Oecanthus rileyi. The group also includes O. fultoni, and three additional Tree Crickets not in the group also occur in Southern California. Tree Cricket identification is largely based on the characters of the first two antennal segments; refer to SINA (1) below for details. Occurs throughout the west from California north to BC.
