Fruit Fly (Goedenia formosa group)

Arthropoda > Insecta > Diptera > Acalyptratae > Tephritidae

(=Urophora formosa) Western United States; Widely recorded along coastal California. A key to species is provided in (2). The color of the femora in the photos here suggests G. steyskali over G. formosa, but the wing pattern and plant association may suggest otherwise.
