Domestic Graylag Goose (Anser anser)

Chordata > Aves > Anseriformes > Anatidae

Introduced from Eurasia, this is a large-bodied thick-billed goose ranging in color from brownish to pure white. The Greater White-fronted Goose can be similar, but less bulky overall and with black markings on the belly. May be resident year-round in coastal Southern California especially at city park lakes, often with other goose species (2). Uncommon (2)
